Eurest has won a £1m annual turnover contract with supermarket chain Asda, the Compass Group-owned caterer announced today.
Under the terms of the 18-month deal, Eurest will feed 1,800 of the supermarket’s staff at the company’s Leeds head office.
Services at Leeds include a 320-seat restaurant serving breakfast and lunch, coffee bar and convenience shop.
The two companies have an existing relationship that has seen the caterer roll out 100 customer and staff restaurants as well as Caffè Ritazza coffee bars at Asda stores since 2004.
Andy Rees, operations executive for Eurest, said: “We are delighted to be extending our successful working partnership with Asda at this showcase site.”
