Compass Group's Keith Prowse business has been appointed hospitality agent at four Premier League football clubs, including Chelsea and Manchester United. London clubs Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are also featured in the extended agreement.

Education caterer Taylor Shaw has won a £1m contract at St Francis Xavier's College in Liverpool, following a selection process led in part by the students. The company secured the three-year, £1.2m deal following input from the school's student council.

Elior has been awarded two new contracts with Waterstone's worth in excess of £12.5m in total, following the success of its 5th View Bar and Food at the bookseller's flagship London store. The 5th View concept at Piccadilly saw sales increase by 33% year-on-year, which led Waterstone's and Elior to discuss replicating the concept.

Kudos Hospitality has landed a £1m contract renewal with Hamilton House, in London's Bloomsbury, that extends the partnership to 18 years. Kudos has retained sole caterer status at the meeting and conference centre for a further three years from August.

Compass Group has replaced long term incumbent rival Elior at London's Barbican centre on a catering contract estimated to be worth in excess of £14m. The seven-year deal, which began on 1 June, sees Compass Leisure take over the food service provision at the Barbican's customer-facing Waterside Café.

Independent caterer Pabulum has been awarded a three-year contract to provide food services to five Berkshire primary schools. The Hampshire-based operator secured the deal worth £150,000 a year after the five schools decided to join forces and put their catering contract out together.

US restaurant chain The One Group is to enter the UK market next year to look after the food and beverage operation at the revamped Hippodrome Casino in London's Leicester Square. The Hippodrome relaunches in 2011 as a 24-hour operation featuring a casino, terrace, restaurant, multiple bars and a cabaret.

London-based caterer Vacherin has won two new contracts with a combined turnover of more than £1m. The independent firm will provide catering services for events held at the Royal Society of Chemistry in Burlington House in London's West End as part of a three-year contract.

Contract caterer Catermasters has been awarded a three-year deal at Heidelberg Graphic Equipment in Brentford, Middlesex. Estimated to be worth in the region of £150,000 a year, the contract will see Catermasters provide healthy hot and cold breakfast, lunch, trolley and hospitality services to the team of 120 staff at Heidelberg, a manufacturer of printing machines and supplier of associated parts.
