Charlton House has snatched a three-year catering contract with information services and publishing company Wolters Kluwer from incumbents BaxterStorey.

BaxterStorey was last week awarded a contract worth £2.6m with telecommunications network T-Mobile, ahead of long-term incumbent caterers CH&Co. The 12-month deal will start on 5 July, four days after the official merger of T-Mobile and rival phone network Orange, which recently awarded its catering contract to French rival Elior.

Sodexo has signed an 18-month contract with Thirlestane Castle to run events at the historic property in Scotland. The contract caterer's Prestige Scotland division will be responsible for growing both corporate and private events at the 13th-century castle in Berwickshire.

Sodexo has announced a four-year extension to its catering contract with the Scottish Government, worth in the region of £11.6m. The catering giant has provided services for the Scottish Government's 6,500 employees and visitors for the past nine years.

Independent caterer Palmer & Howells has won a three year contract to provide school meals at Wellington School in Somerset. Worth £1.5m in total, the new win sees the Bristol-based caterer provide services to the school’s 750 day and boarding pupils.

Brothers Ben and Hugo Warner have landed a £35m contract to provide hospitality services at Edinburgh Castle, Stirling Castle and three other heritage sites, Caterer can reveal. The seven-year deal, previously run by Elior's Digby Trout brand, sees the duo behind high street café and deli brand Benugo operate at five Historic Scotland sites.
