Caterer Kudos has made its first move into the hotel sector, with an £8m food and venue-management contract at Aldermaston Manor hotel in Berkshire. Kudos will deliver a range of services as part of the five-year deal at the hotel, including conference and banqueting, restaurant.

Seasoned Events has been awarded a three-year banqueting and catering contract with Thames Luxury Charters (TLC) worth nearly £3m. The events division of Crown Group provide the hospitality services aboard its fleet of four luxury charter boats, moored at Butler's Wharf by Tower Bridge.
