Fireworks may be to blame for Isle of Wight hotel fire

Ryde Castle hotelThe owners of an Isle of Wight hotel have said that a fire that caused a partial collapse of the building on Saturday night may have been caused by fireworks. Investigators from the Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service are trying to discover whether the fireworks – set off from the roof of the 18-bedroom Ryde Castle hotel in Ryde – were responsible for the blaze.
