Black Pig on the marketCornwall's Michelin-starred Black Pig restaurant is on the market, Caterer has learned. Nathan Outlaw said he and his business partners, Colin Morris and Nicola Tigwell, had put the restaurant in Rock up for sale at £150,000, after "amicably agreeing" to go their separate ways. Outlaw, who gained the Michelin star in January last year, is moving south of the Camel estuary to take up a head chef position at St Ervan Manor. He will open a 24-seat fine-dining restaurant at the boutique B&B owned by Alan and Lorraine Clarke this month, and plans to transform the business into a restaurant with rooms. Outlaw will continue to act as a consultant for the Black Pig until its sale. His sous chef, Chris Simpson, will run the kitchen jointly with Peter Biggs, formerly of Anthony's in Leeds. Both chefs worked with Outlaw when he was head chef at the Vineyard at Stockcross, near Reading. Hempel hotel is sold to consortium for £16.5m
