A 100-bedroom Hilton hotel is to form part of the £30m redevelopment of the new regional headquarters of the Professional Golfers Association in Surrey. Planning permission has been granted for the hotel, together with 40 lodges, a luxury spa and golf academy at Wildwood Golf & Country Club.

Restaurant group D&D London is to open two new restaurants in the City of London next year, located at the Grade II-listed Old Bengal Warehouse off Bishopsgate. The company will launch two eateries, a steak/chop house and a fish restaurant, as well as a wine shop at the 10,000sq ft development.

Wetherspoon is to open a new pub and hotel in Weston-super-Mare. The company has spent £2.4m developing the Cabot Court hotel on the site of a former hotel and bars. It will open on Tuesday next week (19 July). The hotel has 23 bedrooms - a mix of family rooms, twin rooms and double bedrooms.
