Minimum wage goes up to £6.08

Hand and MoneyThe minimum wage rose from £5.93 per hour to £6.08 on Saturday, an increase of 2.5%. The minimum wage is decided each year by the Low Pay Committee (LPC). It was introduced in 1999 at £3.60 an hour for adults.

Lindley Heritage wins five-year extension with Malvern Theatres

Malvern TheatresLindley Heritage has scooped a five-year contract extension at Malvern Theatres worth £4m. The partnership was originally formed in 2005 with the current five-year deal due for review in 2013. Compass to see decline in growth in UK and Ireland

Compass Group logoCompass is expected to see a decline of around 1% in its organic revenue in the UK and Ireland for its full financial year, which ends at the end of September.
