World Athletics Championship gold medal winner Mo Farah has hosted a running club for Holiday Inn, the official hotel provider to the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Starting and finishing at Holiday Inn London Regent's Park, the 5,000 metres run was open to all running enthusiasts and fans of Farah.

Westfield Stratford City, the retail development next to the Olympic Park in east London, today opens its doors to the public. The £1.45b development is the largest urban shopping centre in Europe, featuring 300 shops and restaurants across 177,000sq m.

Upmarket caterer Searcys is celebrating £150m of new business as well as the sponsorship of Olympic hopeful Dai Greene. The four contracts - Blenheim Palace; the Royal College of General Practitioners; the Army and Navy Club and London Southend Airport - will all be operational in 2012.

Holiday Inn is set to fly in 100 international staff to work in the Olympic Village to make athletes feel more at home during the 2012 games.
