French Provençal bistro group Aubaine opens outlet with screening room in Mayfair

Aubaine logoAubaine, the French Provençal bistro, boulangerie and pâtisserie group, has opened a sixth outlet with screening room on Dover Street in London's Mayfair. Open throughout the day and evening, the 80-seat Aubaine Mayfair will serve a seasonally-changing menu of Mediterranean dishes.

Lancashire chippie named best in the UK

Seniors chip shop logoSeniors in Thornton, Lancashire, has been named the best British fish and chip shop in the National Fish and Chip Awards 2012. Run by brothers Alastair and Dominic Horabin, the shop beat 10 other regional finalists to win the national title in the annual competition, which is run by seafood authority Seafish.

Business property prices fall by more than 2% in 2011

Business property prices, including those in the hospitality sector, fell by an average of 2.48 per cent in 2011, according to property agent Christie & Co's Business Outlook 2012 publication. This followed a marginal increase during 2010 of 0.3%.
