Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa, EdinburghThe five-star, 269-bedroom Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa in Edinburgh will be relaunched on Thursday following a multimillion-pound refurbishment. Owned by the Hotels Corporation of Edinburgh, the entire property has been renovated over a two-year period, during which time the hotel remained open.

Hotels in London and the regions shaping up for a strong year

Crown Hotel in New Forest sold to Antoinette Hotels

The Crown Hotel in LyndhurstThe 39-bedroom Best Western Crown Hotel in Lyndhurst, Hampshire, is to undergo a £1m investment following its sale to the Antoinette Group. Thotel was sold by Ian Dunn of Evergreen Hotels, who will now concentrate on running the Calcot hotel in Reading.
