Little Chef is reportedly preparing to close 70 of its restaurants and cut 600 staff. The Sun reported that company bosses would break the news to staff today.
The move would mean that more than 40% of Little Chef’s outlets would be affected.

Antonin Bonnet, executive chef at the Michelin-starred Greenhouse in London, is to leave the Mayfair restaurant to relocate to Paris. SBG Restaurants, owned by Richard Muir and William Rollason, has added its second Livebait restaurant to its portfolio, having bought the Leeds site from in-administraiton Paramount Restaurant Group. Muir and Rollason, former chairman of Paramount, made their first acquisition for their new company from Paramount in November last year.

Celebrity chef Antony Worrall Thompson has apologised for what he called his “stupid and irresponsible actions” after being cautioned by police for shoplifting items from a Tesco supermarket.
