Bourne Leisure bought the Haven Group from Rank in 2000 for £700m. This comprised Haven, Butlins, Oasis and Warner. Bourne then sold several of the old Haven Holiday Parks and the Oasis holiday village in Cumbria.
Warner specialises in "only-for-adults" holidays and short breaks. Its portfolio comprises six historic hotels (all Grade I- or Grade II-listed buildings with formal gardens), five holiday village resorts, three smaller character hotels, and one hotel in Majorca - making a total of more than 5,000 beds.
Warner recently entered the river- and ocean-cruise markets as well.
