‘Sangiovese - Chianti Classico versus the rest of the world’
Presentation by President Riccardo Ricci Curbastro of Federdoc (the National Confederation for the Guardianship of the Denomination of Origin) on the Italian DOCG structure; and a traceability of Chianti Classico news announcement from Marco Pallanti.
Followed by a tutored tasting of Chianti Classicos and other Sangiovese wines, led by Peter McCombie MW together with the Consorzio’s President, Marco Pallanti.
