As our Government sector Account Manager you will report to the Group Sales Director you will have responsibility for the delivery of the development and drive of a complete sales and marketing strategy for the Government sector within Principal Hayley.

You will conduct face to face sales appointments, telesales calls and ensure conversion levels of key pieces of business are achieved to ensure overall sales budgets for the group.

As the Account Manager you will be required to support group wide sales through proactive account management and implementation of Principal Hayley group initiatives personally.

You will develop a sales culture which demonstrates flair and passion with both customers and internal teams and act as a senior sales representative for the Principal Hayley Group whilst achieving the key performance indicators agreed.

Your main responsibilities will be:

 Develop, implement and drive a Government sales strategy to achieve budgeted revenue targets.
 Develop and drive a Government marketing plan to support the key sales strategies and activities in conjunction with the marketing team.
 Key involvement in activities and networking events to maintain and generate revenue in the Government Sector
 End to end management of sales processes for existing and new customers.
 Manage conversion of key opportunities with right business, right time, right price approach
 360 degree Account Management of Top Government accounts and agencies linked to the government accounts
 Implement and Monitor the return on investment and success of Government familiarisation trips
 Analyse and act upon competitor, business and market trends and activity to protect business and increase Principal Hayley market share

To be successful you will be of graduate calibre and have previous experience of working with local government. You will have extensive experience at sales management level and previous experience of managing the marketing function including relationship and direct marketing. Experience is of working within the hospitality industry in a 4* or 5* Hotel group is essential.

You will have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate with a large range of groups.
