The Company:

Our client operates a number of premium restaurants in high footfall venues within major urban markets throughout the UK. They are currently looking for a driven Assistant Manager.

Job Role - Assistant Manager:

As a result of brand expansion our client has a vacancy for an Assistant Manager. Reporting to the General Manager, your role will be to assist in operating a very busy restaurant to achieve maximum sales and profit by having motivated and skilled staff who deliver a delightful customer experience to the highest standards.

You will also be responsible for the restaurant in the absence of the General Manager. If you can inspire your team to success you can expect competitive benefits, rewards, excellent training and exceptional career prospects.

Key Responsibilities - Assistant Manager:

- Recruiting, training and developing your team to achieve their personal best.
- Leading positively by example.
- Setting targets with clear standards and time scales.
- To actively market and promote your business.
- To develop your business by continually seeking opportunities to increase sales and improve service anticipating changes and planning accordingly.
- To assist in controlling the financial performance of the business, seeking to exceed agreed sales and profit targets and achieving agreed margins.

Key Attributes - Assistant Manager:

- Previous experience of working in a high volume branded restaurant as an Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager, Duty Manager or Shift Manager.
- You will need passion for hospitality, great quality food, customers and people.
- You must be able to demonstrate an ability to manage a team by coaching, developing and motivating others.
- Commercially aware with Strong P+L skills.
- Experience of developing new teams from scratch, developing them to their full potential.
- A strong, ambitious individual, looking for a challenge, driven by 100% customer satisfaction.
- Open minded and flexible with the ability to think outside the box.
- Be a team player with the desire to develop yourself and those around you.
- A desire to excel in everything you do.
