JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an experienced Restaurant Supervisor who will assist in the daily running of the restaurant, events, functions and weddings. Additional responsibilities will include the training and management of staff, assisting in product development ensuring that the appropriate standards are maintained at all times and a first class service is delivered to guests. A proactive sales approach is required to meet budgeted revenue targets.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
*Making yourself familiar with all current and pending business to fully prepare to meet guest needs
* Hands on approach to ensure smooth running shifts
* Exceed guest expectations in all activities
* Train and devlop team to ensure consistency of Q standards
* Maximise revenue opportunities and controlling costs
DESIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCES AND ATTRIBUTES
* Previous experience in running events to capability of 100 seated
* Previous expereince in 4* hotel
* Good communication to motivate and challenge the team
* Attention to detail, to maintain standards
* Previous experience of working successfully in a Food and Beverage management team
* High standard of grooming and appearance
* Ability to work well under pressure
* Forward planning
* Strong supervisory skills
