Head Chef/ Kitchen Manager required for this very busy Restaurant in Sherwood Forest...To lead and motivate the already existing brigade... Our client is the most prestigious Group of Stylish Contemporary Italian Restaurants in the UK, serving simple, traditional and authentic Italian food.

JOB DESCRIPTION & TRAINING
A Head Chef is sought to lead, train and manage a professional brigade of chefs. Being part of a group and working as an integral part of the restaurant the Kitchen Manager will liaise with the Restaurant Manager to provide meals within company specifications to the required company margins, using only the finest ingredients from authorized suppliers.
From the very first moment you start working with our client you will see that we take training as serious business! Our clients comprehensive training programs gives new team members the confidence, knowledge and all the necessary skills to be the very best at what they do and also helping them to realise their full potential. Each position within the company has a tailor made training schedule ranging from one week to five weeks, depending on the position. Throughout your training program you will be working alongside a qualified Trainer and some of the most experienced members of the teams. Throughout your training period you will be assessed regularly, both written and practical as well as having assessment meetings with your Trainer. We are confident that by the end of your initial training program you will have acquired all the necessary skills and knowledge to be successful and to be able to grow with our client and share in their success.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:-
*1 or more years experience as a Kitchen Manager/ Head Chef
*A proven track record and strong development skills.
*Demonstrate an established role and good leadership skills.
*Career minded and strong willed and can do attitude.
* An Italian Background would be advantageous
