A 50 cover restaurant open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and successful outside catering business is looking for a head chef to continue driving the business forward. The head chef will work closel ywith the owner on GP's, costings and menu ideas. The head chef will be required to work from 8 am to 6 pm, 5 days a week.
Head chef duties include:
complete running of the kitchen
health and safety
Staff training and management
Monitoring GP's and costings
Requirements for the head chef
Strong managerial and staff relation skills
Broad knowledge of mediterranean cuisine
Some experience on pastry and breads would be an advantage
Understanding of kitchen GP's
Numeracy and basic computer literacy
