Situated alongside the A2, between Dover and Canterbury, the 4-Star Ramada Dover is a modern hotel set in a quiet location with gardens around it. The hotel is just a 5-minute drive to Dover's Ferry and Cruise Terminals, Castle and the World Famous White Cliffs. Their Bleriot’s Restaurant has many fine dishes from the exciting menus to choose from at lunch and dinner.

Job Role:
- As Head Waiter you will work within the Food & Beverage team covering a very busy restaurant, Bar & Coffee shop. A very professional approach is required in this position team. The restaurant serves a full A La Carte Menu, TDH & Menu of the day along with a gastronomic taster menu. All produce is locally sourced with a seasonal menu and extensive wine list.
- You will be responsible for supervising with the smooth running of these outlets and and ensuring an exceptional high level of customer service is provided at all times.
- You will report to the Food & Beverage Manager.
- You will be responsible for the supervision and when necessary training of junior staff and waiters running these outlets.
- Additionally you will be required to maintain the highest standard of cleanliness and up keep of furnishings, to induct new and casual staff into their work, continually check that standards are high and you look after the customers.
- You will be responsible for assisting in all areas of restaurant and banqueting service.
- You will help maintain the Hotel’s Four Star standards, whilst assisting in the development of the waiter/s.
Candidate:
As Head Waiter you will need to have a friendly and outgoing personality and have previous relevant experience for 3 or more years at NVQ level 3 or above in the relevant operations and worked for a 3, 4 or 5 star hotel or quality hotels/ restaurants. The Head Waiter/s must be highly passionate, and have excellent attention to detail and the ability to continually raise standards. You will have a good command of verbal and written English, have excellent presentation skills and excellent communication skills.
