Human Resources Officer-£28K

A bespoke opportunity to join this dynamic contract catering company as a Human Resources Officer. Based in a well-known Bank in Canary Wharf, you will report to the Operations Manager on site and liaise with the HR department at Head Office. There are 15 manager and 150 staff members on site employed by the contract catering company.

Your job as the Human Resources Officer will be to motivate, train and develop staff members. Your main objective is to manage and maintain the smooth running of the HR operations and training, in line with the set standards. Additionally, you will support the managers with regards to recruitment, training, administration, HR advice and payroll. You will need to be able to give advice on law issues, grievance, performance, flexible working, and maternity cover.

We are looking for the right personality and experience! The ideal candidate for the Human Resources Office role will act as a positive ambassador for the business, be a team player, and have creative and innovative ideas to take the department forward in terms of training and staff development.

We are calling all experienced HR specialist from a contract catering or Hotel background. You will have at least 3 years experience in the field and will ideally have CIPD qualifications or equivalent. Should you be studying towards your qualifications but have gained work experience in the industry, then please do get in touch too! You must be bubbly, confident, approachable, warm and customer oriented. This role requires you to be proactive, service driven and a strong communicator.
