This new build Heartland Tavern is an excellent opportunity in Ashford, Kent. Opening in early February 2009 this site will take best advantage of its positioning and consumer profile on the edge of a new high quality housing development. The site will provide 120 covers with an excellent patio beer garden.

We are looking for a manager(s) that is eager to make their mark and really drive this new business forward. You should be able to consistently deliver exceptional standards and be a great host for your customers.

Are you the right person for the job?

As an experienced pub manager or management couple, you will have a proven track record in the following:

• Extensive food experience
• Developing sales and profit
• Delivering the highest level of customer care
• Ability to start up a new site and build sales in the local community
• Team member recruitment, selection, management & development
• Able to build strong food orientated teams
• Delivering to brand standards
• Excellent organisational ability
• Working in a family friendly environment

You will need to have the following experience / skills / qualities:
• Hands on approach to management
• Visible leadership skills
• Great team motivator
• Diverse and creative approach to driving sales (proven)
• Experience in driving specials sales and upselling to deliver margin
