Reservations Coordinator - ??15k - Chester - Reservations

This hotel located in the city of Chester is looking for a reservations agent to join their successful team. rewarded with good company benefits and internal progression is extremely healthy also!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


*The Reservations Sales Agent is responsible for the accurate recording/processing of reservations and the maximisation of room sales through pro-active selling techniques and sell upgraded Bedrooms & Suites to all clients.
*Adhere to pre set availability and rate control standards as set by the Reservations Manager and Assistant Reservations Manager.
*Ensure high level of product knowledge of the hotel and the local area
*Ensure a sales attitude is adopted at all times and maintain an awareness of all sales opportunities within the hotel
*Develop and maintain a high level of communication with all major sources of business and advise the Reservations Manager of feedback where necessary
*Adhere to all company credit policies to ensure that all revenue expected will be received. Ensure all issues are raised as concerns where appropriate.
*Maintain and update guest history as laid down in the reservations procedures for the use of Guest Preferences.
*Comply with all company policies such as Grooming Policy/House Rules.
*Comply with all systems and procedures as laid down by Reservations Manager relating to correspondence/filing/deposits and general administration within the office.
*To have a positive and friendly approach towards customers and staff alike
*Accurately files and sorts all correspondence, update as necessary and maintains archives.
*Attend and take part in Monthly Departmental Meetings
*Able to attend both internal and external training courses identified as a development need in appraisal or one to one.
*Ensure cleanliness of all Equipment, Revenue Office and Workstation.
*Objectives are set at your appraisal or one to one, and will help you develop within your role
