Trends & DataSouth-western weekly hotel performance to 9 November, 2008(13 November 2008 11:20)Hotels in the South-west saw revenue per available room (revpar) fall by 2.39% in the week ending 9 November, 2008, according to figures from hospitality research company STR Global. Revpar was £39.83 compared with £40.81 in the equivalent week of 2007. Occupancy decreased by 1.21 percentage points to 61.52% while average room rate declined by 0.47% to £64.75, compared with £65.06 in the corresponding week of 2007.
