Now in its second year, Identità London is an annual international gastronomic congress held at London’s Vinopolis. Founded by Italian food editor Paolo Marchi, Identita London is based on Identita Golose which was founded six years ago by Marchi.

After resisting calls to export his expertise to Tokyo and New York, the lure of London proved too much and led to the recent opening of Apsleys, housed in the Lanesborough hotel. London's Lanesborough hotel on Hyde Park Corner has welcomed three-Michelin-starred chef Heinz Beck of the world famous La Pergola in Rome, who has taken over Apsleys. The restaurant serves a traditional Italian menu and offers a seven-course degustazione priced £75.
