So James Horler, chief executive of spanish tapas chain La Tasca, looks set to become a very rich man.
Bolstered by private equity backing from new owner Blackstone, Tragus, owner of Cafe Rouge, is continuing in maurading down the UK's high streets with a £96m deal for La Tasca.
Hats off to Horler who bought fledgling La Tasca in September 2001 for £28.2m with backing from Penta Capital.
Still, we spot them early here and back in 1994 gave Horler one of our coveted Acorn awards for his achievments at Granada, highlighting him as a star of the future. A job well done.
