Table Football Competition causes controversy

For the most competitive at the IHIF, there's only ever been one battle against your arch corporate rivals that's important to win and that's the CBRE table football competition.

This year's winner was financier Chris Eddis from Mornington Capital. But just to set the record straight, Chris definitely did not cheat by recruiting the knocked-out semi-finalist as his partner for the Grand Final kick off against InterContinental.

But after winning the nail-biting game, from a 9-9 position, he's even a reluctant to admit he's a hustler but it seems the controversy won't go away as mutterings continue to be heard around Berlin about whether last minute substitutions are allowed.

I guess we'll have to wait for a rematch next year. At least 06 winner Tim Helliwell of Barclays - who also won under a cloud, after commandeering Italian ringer Roberto Galano from Jones Lang LaSalle at the last minute- thinks so. "We was robbed!" he told Caterer.
