I’m all for this: why not get these things off your chest if you are an agitated chef? Front of house have the blog spot Waiter Rant.

BUT. I have one slight query. The polls already up include “Have you been bullied at work?” “Have you ever considered that you need mental help?” “Do you drink or take drugs when you are at work”.

Fine, fine, all good stuff.

But, then out of nowhere, the question: “Ever had sex at work?”

Pardon?

Where does that fit in?

“I’m really going to show that cocky head chef tomorrow?”
“Yeah? How man?”
“I’m going to have angry sex in the pastry area during mise en place”
"...what?"

Personally I don’t follow. Maybe someone could explain to me whether cheeky nooky is endemic in the kitchen? I've never come across it. (Not like that...).

More to the point, how could you ever get away with it in a kitchen that's probably occupied from 6am 'til midnight? The timing required to get it empty would surely make it more of an inconvenience than anything else.

Unsurprisingly, 3/3 replies have so far said no, tehy haven't had sex at work. But maybe they’ll be a sharp swing in voting. All it needs is a lot of angry, horny chefs to find the blog.
