We all love a bit of McDonald's after a heavy night out and just yesterday a friend was telling me about a recent late night trip to one of the golden arches' drive-throughs after a wedding reception.
But one happy couple in Cornwall seems to have got the order of events a bit mixed up and plans to head to the fast food chain before rather than after their special celebration.
Next month, Alice Clark and husband-to-be Terry Speller from St Austell, will be chauffeur driven straight from their wedding to McDonald's where they will tuck into burgers and fries before joining friends and family at their reception at the County Arms pub in Truro.
A McDonald's spokesman said the company was "proud" to be the couple's destination of choice. "We all know that weddings can be stressful and we're glad that the simple good value and great taste of our food is going to take some of the hassle out of their special day," he said.
Be that as it may but you have to ask yourself, why oh why would you want to spend the most important day of your life at a fast food joint?
"There are a few reasons," Clark said. "But basically I'm fussy."

Hi
thanks we have chosen fast food for the sheer fun of it! Were else can we get a fast easy cheap meal in under 15mins!? Its our chance to spend some time together before the hussle and bustle of the reception!
