The London Restaurant Awards: And the winners are... (Part 1)

So here's the moment we've all been waiting for.

And the first winner is

Best British Restaurant of the Year: Great Queen Street

The second winner of the night for Best French Retsurant of the Year:

Chris & Jeff Galvin with Ainsley HarriottGalvin Bistrot de Luxe

Here's what Chris and Jeff Galvin had to say:

"It's a great honour to have been in the same category as such great London restaurants as Le Gavroche and winning the award is just brilliant. It's a fantastic achievement not just for us but for the whole team.

"We're having a spectacular evening and have met some fantastic people. It's good that these awards have been brought back to life."
