So here we are at the London Restaurant Awards at the Grosvenor House hotel.
As I'm typing this everyone is making their way to their tables in the Great Room, which is looking very festive indeed.
During the Champagne reception we managed to catch up with quite a few of the capital's restaurant scene's luminaries including Marcus Wareing and his wife Jane (pictured), Jason Atherton (Maze), Silvano Giraldin and Michel Roux Junior from Le Gavroche, Claude and Claire Bosi (Hibiscus), Chris Galvin, Simon Kossoff (Carluccio's) and Richard Corrigan who very stylishly arrived in a limo. Are we name dropping I hear you ask - do you expect any less of us?
