Do you have a major skill you can showcase at New College Durham?

On Tuesday March 27th 2012 New College Durham, one of the leading colleges of further and higher education in the North East with success rates placing them in the top 10% of all colleges nationally, will be hosting the third round of The Major Series and look forward to building on last years success!

All colleges in the North East, Lake District, University College Birmingham and Liverpool Community College have been sent invites to compete and it is a great opportunity for college and industry liaison links to be forged.

Entrants are also accepted from the industry with junior and senior classes in Static and live cookery.

There is an opportunity to win £500 in the Live Chicken class and a years free membership of the Craft Guild of Chefs by being selected to go forwards to the Grand Final in 2013 at Birmingham's NEC.
