Acorn Awards 2009: Time to nominate your brightest star!

acorn logo.jpg
The 2009 Acorn Awards, sponsored by Unilever Foodsolutions, is now in its 23rd year, and again is looking for this year's top 30 under the age of 30 within the industry.

Any celebration of talent that lists Marco Pierre White, Gary Rhodes and James Horler as its former winners, shows that over the years, winning an Acorn Award is something to shout about.

To ease the nomination process this year, all entries are to be completed online, so why not suggest some of your brightest stars.

This year, the prize is a weekend away in the delightful Cotswold Lower Slaughter Manor and Washbourne Court hotels - as well as the honour of being named an Acorn.

Watch a video here of last year's fun and games at Oxford Malmaison and see what some of last year's winners had to say about winning an award.

So get your entries in now - the closing date is fast approaching! You have until 27 February to get your nominations in.
