We are looking for an experienced chef de partie to work for a high profile contract catering unit in central London. The menu is prepared daily from fresh and good quality ingredients and you must therefore have experience in both producing food en mass but also to high standards. As chef de partie you will be required to run a section within the kitchen, ensuring that company standards of food and also health & hygiene are maintained.
The successful applicant will be required to have relevant catering qualifications such as NVQ level 1 and 2 or City and Guilds and have at least 3 years experience in a similar role. You must also be knowledgeable in food safety, HACCP, COSHH and Health & Safety.
The basic salary is ??17,000 - ??19,000 per annum depending on the candidate, working 5 days out of 7 (Monday to Friday), straight shifts. Overtime is paid at time and a half.
