Food & Beverage Manager Responsibilities:
- To ensure that service level standards are met the main restaurant, the conference & banqueting facilities, the bar area.
- To maximise profitability in all F & B service areas outlets through pro-active sales and controlling departmental costs.
- To build relationships with all Heads of Departments.
- To oversee the standards of service within food and liquor service outlets, ensuring that the best possible standards of presentation, preparation and customer service are maintained within budgeted costs.
- To establish, monitor and review operational and customer care standards within the departments in order to achieve and exceed customer satisfaction
The Food and Beverage Manager will require
- Excellent management skills
- Ability to organise your department
- Control all areas with Hands on approach
- Inform Management of Events
- Liaise with General manger and Head Chef
- Lead from front- training lower grades and motivating others
- Exceptional knowledge of the food and beverage department
- Confident and pleasant Manner
- Excellent communicator with guests
- Extensive experience in food and beverage in Hotels
- Accountability
The Ideal Food & Beverage Manager will
- At least 2 years experience in a Food and Beverage Manager role with a high volume role.
- Have strong product knowledge.
- Demonstrate strong commercial awareness with specific reference to budget management, forecasting and p&l’s
