This famous City investment bank are looking for a talented Head Chef to run their fine dining kitchen. As Head chef you will produce high level food to a Michelin * standard for the 28 corporate directors dining rooms – an average of 65 – 70 covers for lunch. You will be responsible for both a la carte and set menus and also produce canapés for functions when required. As Head Chef you will manage a brigade of 6 chefs. The core hours are Monday to Friday, days only, apart from 1 evening function on average per week, for which you will be paid overtime. The basic is £30,000 but with overtime you will earn at least £35,000. The kitchen and working facilities are excellent and as part of one of the leading companies in fine dining contract catering, the career prospects are great. If you have a background in high level restaurants, preferably with some solid Michelin experience, this exciting Head Chef role could be for you.
