They are currently looking for a chef to join them as team leader. Whilst they are a branded company they serve very good quality food made from the finest fresh produce and are very well respected in the business. You will need to be highly organized with good leadership skills – you will have to manage up to 48 people! – and have a real eye for detail so as to ensure that all the food that leaves the kitchen is up to scratch. In return, you will receive an excellent salary - £25-27k basic + 20% bonus & 24 days holiday per annum – and work a 45 hour week. The company is expanding and there are tremendous opportunities to progress and run your own unit. If you are working in a more upscale restaurant please don’t discount this opportunity as you could still work with good food but have a much better quality of life and really develop your full management and business potential. The current Head Chef is originally from a Michelin star background and is very knowledgeable about all things food related. If you are a Pastry Chef, this position could really suit you too.
