Christie Finance, the financial arm of property agents Christie & Co has released a second £20m tranche for customers seeking to invest in the pub, hotel and retail sectors. The move comes after the first tranche released earlier this year was oversubscribed.

The Hole in the Wall - widely regarded as one of the most influential restaurants in post-war Britain - is up for sale. Situated in the vaults of two Georgian townhouses in Bath, the 85-cover restaurant was established by restaurateur and chef George Perry-Smith in 1951.

Bovey Castle, the 64-bedroom country house hotel within Dartmoor National Park, has been put on the market for £17.5m - nearly £10m less that its current owners paid for the property six years ago. Property investment company Delancey bought the hotel from Peter De Savary in 2006, for £26.4m.

Hotel Indigo - the boutique brand from InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) - is to launch its first property in Wales. The 92-bedroom Hotel Indigo Queen Street Cardiff will become the fifth Hotel Indigo to be managed by Sanguine Hospitality.
The St Ermin's hotel in Westminster has been put on the market for £165.5m. Commercial property specialist Jones Lang LaSalle has been appointed to exclusively market the hotel on behalf of holding firm St Ermin's Operating. Jones Lang LaSalle said it was advertising it with a guide price of £500,000 per room.
