This picture was taken at a chain hotel in Cambridge. This van is owned by one of its suppliers.  The situation is made worse by the fact that the owners of the van and the hotel are the same company.  If hotels allow this to happen how will they stop other guests abusing the accessible car parking spaces over night when they are most needed.  The answer is they won't.  It is a very short step from this to all the accessible car parking being abused by other residents.  If you have accessible car parking places they need managing properly.  It means staff checking that only those entitled to park do so.  In my opinion you should have one space available for each adapted room.  If they are not let then suspend the bay for that night and put a suitable cover over the accessible sign.  And if people still park there then place suitable stickers on the car windscreen asking them to move, the stickier the better.
