Having just shared some rather funny tweets on Twitter with CHEFBENNETT01 and BOYGEORGE about 'Earl Grey' tea was just wondering how every took their cuppa?
Personally i love just a dash of dairy milk with one lump.
Chef Bennett prefers his with milk "real men drink milky tea"
A.N. Other says "Not butch enough for us (men), a little bit of lemon floating in ya tea!!!! we want milk and sugar!"
and 80's popstar BOYGEORGE takes his with soya milk, honey and two bags.
How do you take yours?
I take milk in my tea too, so not just real men! I had a boss once who'd take milk and two tea bags which he left in the cup while he drank his tea. I think he was trying to show off.
that sounds like the kind of person who buys a big car to 'compensate'.....
on the tea thing, someone said to me the other day about tea becoming more popular and wether a 'tea bar' could emulate the kind of popularity that all the coffee shops are getting . i cant see it myself, as tea is more of a relaxed, enjoy the moment kind of thing whereas coffee drinkers in starbucks etc tend to be on the go types rushing through for their fix of caffeine, but what do you think??
