It's a little early I know, but I have been hearing a few whispers as to who will appear on next year's Great British Menu.
2010 will be the fifth series and the show has seen top chefs from around the country cook for the Queen's birthday, the Ambassadors Dinner at the British Embassy in Paris, a four-course dinner at top of the iconic Gherkin building in London for some the worlds top chefs, gourmets and celebrities and last year cook a homecoming banquet for troops fighting in Afghanistan.
Many chefs have competed over the four years but who do you think will be taking part in the competition next year? Do you think that last year's winners will return to defend their title?
I think we'll see this year's winners hosting the cook-offs - as Jason and Sat did this year.
It's quite hard for the chefs to enter again once they've got to the final in previous years. And it's a great programme for showcasing our talent so the more faces that pass through there the better in my eyes!
Would like to see a few more ladies in there though!
Absolutley. It'll be great to see more of the lesser-known chefs do the programme. There is great talent out there and GBM is a great place to showcase our talent.
I am really interested in what or who they will be cooking for in the next series - after the Queen, British Ambassador, top chefs at the Gherkin, Armed Forces, who else is there?
Bonjour,
All the chef involve in the Great British Menu are very talented and passionate about them cooking. They all have different still and expertises. They are not your local chef from your local pub and restaurant. Saying that, lots of your local chefs are very talenteded and imaginative but, us, as a customer do not respect or appreciate them imagination and creativity.
The great british menu, Master chef, Britain best food and other tv cookery programs are very profesional and challanging. Cook with the best, work with the best, be the best.
Good luck to all participant, cooking under pressure and been watch all the time is a challange on is own. Not every body is relax as Gordon Ronsay.

Amanda: Here details on Johnnie.
You missed a trick there: shouldn't that be "Heeeeere's Johnny!"
Oops, sorry. that should have been 'Johnnie'.
Ha, ha, very good!
Perhaps I'm being optimistic, but perhaps the dinner could be a gala night in celebration of England's World Cup-winning squad ...
Now that would be something to celebrate!!
I've heard that Anthony Demetre, Tristan Welch and Tom Kerridge are competing with Jason Atherton acting as a judge. That should be a good round.
Also, rumours that Alan Murchison performed well during his filming (think he was against Tony Singh and can't remember the other chap). If Alan and Will Holland make it through to the finals that will make great TV!
Do you know who else is competing - are some of the guys that did not make it to the final going for it again? When will it hit our screens?
