Is time travel allowed?
I'm intrigued. What have you in mind...? The Last Supper? A platter of freshly roasted Dodo? Or maybe a jump to 2215 when we're all eating flavoured polystyrene?
Steve... I've got to try the 'still beating heart of the cobra'. Is it legal in the UK? Good to see a protein come with it's own sauce.
im fairly sure its not exactly 'legal' in vietnam!! its one of those taboo-ish things i want to be able to say "i did it" when i look back on my life, like fugu. if time travel is possible, then that opens up a whole raft of new options. without sounding like the president of the grant achatz supporters club, he is opening a venue in chicago in january called 'next' which will hopefully allow culinary time travel by creating sets of menus from various time periods including paris 1912,hong kong 2036, sicily 1949 and so on. have a look at this-

for a glimpse.come on, how many other chefs would announce a new restaurant with a movie trailer??
its your fantasy meal, you tell us the parameters!!
Okay. Versailles, Court of the Sun King, turn of the eighteenth century.
you bloater!!!!!!
I'd like a place at any feast created by "King of Chefs, and the Chef of Kings" Antonin Carême. I watched Eric Lanlard's series on the culinary master earlier this year and his creations sounded amazing! I'd particularly like to sit at a table with a pièces montées sat centre stage where i could enjoy all manner of patisserie delights...
Righ - day-dream over and back to the diet!
the French laundry, noma, el cellar de can roca or alinea
if time travel is allowed the ritz paris when escoffier was there
seeing as time travel seems to be allowed i'm thinking of the baddest of the bad boys-marco at harveys when gordon, steve terry et al were in the brigade.
