Hotels have begun to set their prices for hotel room snot allocated to LOCOG during the Olympics. On average they are setting their rates at around double their normal prices. Is this an acceptable rate without alienating guests in the long term?
It's something that concerns us and something we're going to work with the hotels to try and avoid. From our point of view, guests don't understand that prices on our site are set by the hoteliers and not by us, so we're easily tarred with the brush with such things
