I am slightly confused as to whether I like the new Flake advert on the TV or not.  Now apparently the dress is meant to be yellow to resemble the Flake wrapper colouring, I've had an office debate with a colleague in that she says yellow, I say cream.

When I first saw the adv I guessed it was for chocolate (and not a drain cleaner or human illness fungi that some have said) but I did think the adv was suggesting a white chocolate version of the good old favourite (thsi was going to be exciting) but apparently not, it's just the same Flake - the dress ripples are meant to resemble the chocolate (yes) and the colour of the dress meant to be the wrapper (no).

So is it a good advertisement?  the more I watch it the more I can't get a fungus out of my head!  Bring back the lady who had sinful pleasure devouring her own Flake, or perhaps in 2010 make this a man laying the bath Stick out tongue

According to Cadbury, the dress is definitely yellow. And the new ad marks a departure from the saucy Flake Girl and jingle ones of old.

I'm finding it very amusing that you two have "taken it online" Smile, the debate rages on!

To me, the dress doesnt look bright enough to resemble the distinctly bright yellow wrapper of the Flake, if that was my marketing campaign I would have opted for a brighter yellow to really hammer home the connection. However it's not my marketing campaign, I could probably afford a lady wearing a bin bag flapping in the wind to the tune of my own made up jingle.

When I read your post I thought you were going to say "I could probably afford a lady wearing a bin bag flapping in the wind to the tune of "my old man's a dustman he wears a dustman's hat" Big Smile
