According to the news, its the worst snowfall for 30 years and as we've heard that everything has been affected from train cancellations, school closures, and road chaos.
How has it affected your business? Have you had to close? Have you been taking in stranded drivers?

As I am - more or less - but not helplessly stranded on my large horse property in an isolated part of Oxfordshire by heavy snow drifts, and I was just listening to Jack Straw on the radio stating that this snow which has kept so many from performing their normal duties and going to work, etc etc, has put quite a strain on emergency services. As those who have ventured out to brave the conditions for the betterment of this great and financially thriving nation, are finding themselves in great difficulties.
Mr Straw added that although Police were needed almost everywhere to help cope with this unusual and unfortunate emergency, he would completely understand it if most policemen stayed in their warm stations for the time being and did not venture out. The thought of any of them catching a chill and thus putting a further strain on the already over-burdened NHS, as well as their own well being, was far too frightening to imagine. http://dailybedlam.com
Considering that my hot water and heating went on the blink yesterday, I like many others have suffered from the DEEP FREEZE of the last few days. However, every cloud has a silver (or thermal) lining and the cold weather has had a positive impact on our sales at Coffee Nation (www.coffeenation.com). Like for Like Sales of our delicious hot drinks have increased by 12.3% over the last 10 days which is about 5,000 more drinks per day so it's pretty clear that many people are stopping at our machines (over 900) across the UK to top up on hot coffee or chocolate. I would love to hear from anyone who we have bought some comfort to. Tweet me @coffeenationguy
