Travelodge has sent a letter to its online customers warning them to be on the look out for suspicious 'phishing' emails after its database suffered an apparent hack attack from cyber criminals.
Have you suffered a similar problem? Best Western issued a similar statement back in 2008, after an attempted data hijack, but it seems to be a more prevalent problem affecting any business with an online presence/service (Sony PS3 users, for example).
