To celebrate the career of Elena Salvoni, legendary maitresse d’ and “Queen of Soho”, Caterer and Hotelkeeper, Roy Ackerman from Coolcucumber.tv and Malmaison & Hotel du Vin are together hosting three unique “An Audience with Elena” events this spring. To celebrate Elena’s seven decades in the hospitality business, we are offering you the chance to join the select few to hear Salvoni’s stories and experiences from down the years.
Elena has built her life around perfecting the art of service. She has been at the heart of the London restaurant scene and remains one of the capital's best loved and most respected maîtresse d’s. Sought after by restaurant owners for her talent in building up business, she has won numerous awards for her service - including a Catey for Manager of the Year in 1996 and, in 2005, was awarded an MBE.
The three lunch events will take place at:
Hotel du Vin Harrogate 15 February (ticket deadline 9 Feb)

Bistro du Vin, Clerkenwell, London 7 April (ticket deadline 25 March) * Pls note this venue and date has changed from Malmaison London.
Each event will kick-off at 12pm with an informal Italian themed lunch of antipasti, breads and nibbles complimented with regional wines and beverages, followed by an exclusive interview by Roy Ackerman with Elena Salvoni ending with a Q&A session, wrapping up by 2:30pm.
