The Crown Group hosted 200 of the Group’s clients and friends at the annual Cartier International Day, held at Guards Polo Club, Windsor, as part of its annual Crown Foundation celebrations.

The event featured two Michelin starred Daniel Clifford, chef-patron at the Crown Group’s Midsummer House Restaurant in Cambridge, and creative director of Kudos, its food and venues business.

Clifford worked with some of the Group’s top chefs to provide a menu fit for one of the most exclusive events in the social calendar.

The event was hel to raise awareness of its Crown Foundation amongst its key clients and stakeholders, as well as celebrate the many successes of the last year. Generous contributions to support the day came from Crown Group’s companies, including Kudos, the food and venue experts, Piggotts, the marquee, flags, branding, and festive lighting suppliers, Seasoned Events, the food and events experts, Venue Reservations, the free venue finding service, and The Event Hire Company for furniture hire.

The menu for the day was developed by Clifford and Frank Bordoni, food director at Kudos.

Russell Morgan, founder of the Crown Group, said: “Our charitable work through the Foundation is very important to us, and we are proud to take the time to raise its profile, and celebrate the work that our companies across the Group, clients and partners are doing to support it.” The Foundation was created by the Crown Group to support a range of charities via fundraising and donations. Past fundraising efforts include climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, led by managing partner Charles Beer, selling cakes at Leadenhall market and family fun days at Thorpe Park.
