Rare cognac to be auctioned off

For the first time rare cognac will be available to a worldwide audience after an agreement between a French industry body and an auction house.

This year the ‘La Part des Anges' charity cognac auction will be hosted in partnership with auction house Artcurial, making 24 decanters and exclusive blends donated by Cognac houses available globally.

Held in partnership with chef Guy Savoy, the 10th ‘La Part des Anges' will take place on Thursday 22 September 2016 at a gala evening organised by the Bureau National Interprofessionnel du Cognac (BNIC) held in the Cognac Delimited Region on the banks of the Charente river in the west of France.

Since 2006, the event has donated to 15 employment, education, heritage and social charity projects.
