Tender opportunity: The Old Stables café/restaurant, Towneley Hall and Park

The Old Stables Café / Restaurant is a Grade II-listed, detached stone-built converted Coach House adjacent to the historic Towneley Hall, within Towneley Park, off Todmorden Road, Burnley BB11 3RQ.

Towneley Hall and Park is a major heritage attraction in East Lancashire, operated by Burnley Council and attracting an estimated 400,000 visitors each year. Attractions include the Hall; housing Burnley's Art Gallery and Museum, ornamental gardens, woodland walks, two children's play areas, 18-hole, 9-hole and pitch and putt golf courses and a garden centre as well as the Old Stables Café and Restaurant. Burnley Council is inviting tenders for a lease of the Café / Restaurant property and expects the tenant to complement the running of the Hall and Park, including catering for weddings and events, by providing a quality and sustainable offer.
